Description
The Camtek CAM150HX is a portable CCTV pipe inspection crawler for contractors, councils, water authorities and industrial maintenance teams. Inspect drainage and sewer infrastructure, record footage, document defects and prepare reports using the included PipeScan operating software and PipeVision reporting software.
The complete package includes both interchangeable 1080p camera heads, a detachable lifting boom, 300m of inspection cable, a powered cable reel and portable lithium power. Its six-wheel-drive crawler and interchangeable wheels allow the system to be configured for different pipe sizes and inspection requirements.
Configurable for Different Pipe Sizes
The CAM150HX accommodates pipes from 140–800mm using the compact silver camera head without the lifting frame, depending on the wheels, configuration and available clearance.
For larger pipes, the included lifting boom supports configurations for 300–3,000mm pipes when paired with the appropriate camera head and wheels.
Both camera heads and the lifting boom are included in the package. Access depends on bends, deposits, obstructions and internal pipe clearance. Our team can help you select the right setup.
Six-Wheel Drive with Interchangeable Wheels
The six-wheel-drive crawler comes with interchangeable 3-inch, 4-inch and 6-inch wheels for different pipe sizes and conditions. Its aluminium alloy and stainless steel construction provides a durable platform for inspection work.
Two Interchangeable HD Camera Heads Included
Both heads are detachable and compatible with the same CAM150HX crawler.
Compact Silver Static Camera Head
The compact silver head provides a fixed forward view for inspections in smaller pipelines.

Rear Camera and Adjustable Lighting
A detachable rear HD camera with infrared night vision assists with reversing and retrieval. Live front and rear views are available through the operator interface.
Detachable main and auxiliary lighting can be controlled to suit inspection conditions.
Detachable Camera Lifting Boom Included
The included lifting boom raises the camera to improve its viewing position in larger pipelines. It can be removed when configuring the crawler for smaller pipes.
Chamber pressure monitoring and status indicators help operators monitor equipment condition. Follow the supplied operating instructions and confirmed pressure limits when preparing the system for use.
300m Powered Cable Reel Included
The CAM150HX is supplied with 300m of inspection cable.
The powered reel features automatic cable organisation and powered rewind to assist cable handling. Manual winding and an emergency stop provide additional control.
Operator Controls and Connectivity
The control interface provides access to crawler movement, camera views, supported camera functions, lighting, lifting-frame height and crawler tilt information.
Wi-Fi and wired network connectivity support surface operation. The supplied controller configuration is detailed in your quotation.
Inspection Recording and Reporting
Capture videos and still images, document defects and track inspection distance as you work. Inspection tools include:

Portable Power Supply
The included lithium power station and charger support inspection work where mains electricity is unavailable.
The power station offers a 1,000W rated output, with AC, DC and QC3.0 USB connections. Operating time depends on battery capacity, connected equipment and conditions of use.
